In the classroom the course will take 26 days to complete including taking the exam.  This is based on 1 day attendance per week.  Classes start at 10am each day and finish at 4pm with 30 minutes for lunch.

This course is delivered by our colleagues at The Finance and Management Business School.

Whether you are looking for a career in finance, accounting, business, business administration or even want to start your own company, an ACCA Qualification provides multiple pathways to success.

 

The Diploma in Accounting and Business is aimed at those aspiring to employment – or already employed in a:

 

  • Broad accounting role within an SME

  • Supporting financial reporting role

  • Supervisory role in an accounting department

  • Accounts payables and/ or receivables

  • Fixed asset accounting role

 

On completion of the course you will be awarded a Diploma in Accounting and Business which is equivalent to the first year of a university degree programme.

What will I be able to do after completing the course?

You can follow the ACCA qualification pathway to technician level or professional level. You are also able to complete an undergraduate BSc degree with Oxford Brookes University and an MSc degree with the University of London.

How will I be assessed?

These modules are completed via on-demand computer-based exams. You can sit these at any time of the year and your tutor will help you decide when it is right for you. When you are ready for your exams you will be able to take them at your college and receive your results immediately.

Entry requirements?

You must have a qualification at Level 3 in Accountancy, preferably the ACCA Level 3 Diploma in Financial and Management Accounting.  In addition, there is an entry test to assess your suitability.
