Duration
In the classroom the course will take 10 days to complete including taking the exam. This is based on 5 days attendance per week. Classes start at 9am each day and finish at 5pm with 30 minutes for lunch. Studying this Pathway online will take approximately 6 weeks.
About the course
If you are interested in working in a security/ stewarding role at festivals, sports stadiums, concerts and other events, then this is the course for you!
Upon successful completion of the course you will be eligible to apply for an SIA Licence, valued at £190, at no cost to you!
During this course you will study:

Award for Working as a Security Officer within the Private Security Industry;

Certificate in Warehousing and Storage; and,

Employability Skills, including Help with Applying for Jobs.
What will I be able to do after completing the course?
Upon successful completion of the course you will be eligible to apply for an SIA Licence, valued at £190, at no cost to you!
How will I be assessed?
Examination: There will be one examination date in respect of the Award for Working as a Camera operator within the Private Security Industry.
Portfolio of Evidence: Employability and Stewarding will be assessed by way of a Portfolio of Evidence.
